About Us

our story

Fort Nonsense Brewing Co. is a
Morris County craft brewery, owned and operated by Andrew, Thomas, and James Aslanian. We first opened in January 2018 in Denville, and in October 2021, moved to our current home in Randolph.

Our love of brewing began when we purchased a beer kit for our father, a chemist, who then shared the gift of home brewing with each of us. If only he knew then the obsession he had started!

After years of developing our own recipes and sampling New Jersey’s many craft breweries, we decided to take the plunge and open up our own place: Fort Nonsense Brewing Company. (A crazy name with roots in local history — where can you go wrong with that?)

FNBC offers a variety of classic ales and lagers with their own unique twists and some nonsensical beers for the adventurous drinker. From our Benedict Amber Traitor Ale to Saison Absurdité, we hope you’ll find something to enjoy.

Stop by for a tour, growler fills, flights, cans, bottles, pints or just talk nonsense with us! We at FNBC hope to bring new flavor to the craft beer community, serving unique beer, one cold one at a time.

Cheers,
Andrew, Thomas, and James,
Fort Nonsense Brewing Co.
