Everything You Need to Know About Sourstock 2023

We are less than one week out from this year’s SOURSTOCK, our mini in-house festival celebrating all things sour beer and live music. This year, the nonsense will be going down Saturday, July 15 (12-10pm) & Sunday, July 16 (12-6pm).

Keep an eye out on our social for ongoing beer announcements and any last minute news, but here’s what you need to know:

🙌
16 beers on tap — 12 sours + a few non-sour staples so you can drag your boring friends out too

🙌 Rotating sour beer slushees all weekend long

🙌 Music all day Saturday and Sunday

🙌 Extended outdoor space, with lawn games—bring your own chairs!

🙌
Axe-throwing

🙌 Family friendly & dog friendly outside

Let us know you’re coming by RSVPing on FB here.

THE BEER

Beer announcements are going up daily on our social — we’ll have the full taplist available by the end of the week. And while beer tickets are only for draft pours, we will be selling to-go, including crowlers, growlers and 4-packs. Not all of our new releases will be canned, so plan accordingly! Beer slushees will be announced day-of.

In addition to our 12 sours, we’ll be pouring: Project Lola Pilsner, Benedict Amber Traitor Ale, In Full Effect Hazy IPA & our gluten-free craft hard seltzer. As we finish off kegs of sours, we’ll rotate more non-sour options on tap as well.

Beers will be poured inside and outside for flow control. There will be NO FLIGHTS. You may buy 5oz beers individually.

THE MUSIC

All music is outdoors, weather permitting. We’ll have some seating, but bring your own chairs/blankets, too!

Saturday, July 15, 1-4pm: singer-songwriter from northwest NJ, Jake Roggenkamp. You have to hear his unique voice to believe it!

Saturday, July 15, 6:30-9:30: Fresh off their stop at Summer Camp Music Fest in Illinois earlier this summer, Mykesoul take us into the night with their combination of rock and funky, dreamy jams.

Sunday, July 16: Our pals at Steady Sound System are back to spin reggae, funk, and ska all day long. Expect impeccable vibes.

THE TICKETS

Just like last year’s event, we are selling beer tickets. In fact, you can buy them right now in our taproom. (No online purchases.) These tickets will be the ONLY way you can get an on-site pour during Saturday, July 15-Sunday, July 16 — and yes, they do expire after the 16th. You may not use them for to-go. There is no entry admission/cover, but the first thing you see when you enter will be the beer ticket line & wristband line in our hallway. If you’re purchasing to-go only, you may bypass this line, but everyone drinking onsite needs a wristband.

Beer Ticket Pricing:

1 ticket/$4 (5oz pours)

2 tickets/$8 (12oz OR 16oz pours)

a row of 10 tickets for $35.

Tax included.

THE MERCH

This year’s merch is our exclusive tie-dye Sourstock unisex tank. $25, while supplies last. These are available right now, so you can buy them with your tickets!

THE RULES

Our regular brewery rules apply, which means absolutely no outside alcohol. Bring your own food. Tip your beertenders. Be nice to each other.

We are expanding our outdoor premise for this event, but please no drinks outside of the fence and no smoking inside the fence.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART

We’re so excited to be bringing this event back this summer, and hope to be doing Sourstock for many years to come. While you’re having tons of fun, please make sure to be safe and responsible as well. Call a rideshare service. Get a buddy to drop you off and pick you up. And please respect (and tip!) the beertenders who will be working so hard to help everyone have the best time.

CHEERS!
